Galaxy in Turmoil is Frontwire Studios' flagship game and is currently in development. In Galaxy in Turmoil, players take on the role of Roka, one of the galaxy’s most notorious mercenaries for hire, while she battles through the galaxy on a mission that will either save or destroy her universe. In multiplayer, players will assume the role of a soldier in one of three factions and battle for control in massive 64 player battles featuring full ground to space.
Being an all-volunteer studio can be challenging. We've seen many people join the team to contribute in building Galaxy in Turmoil, and we've seen many people leave. Frontwire Studios truly is a company founded by and ran by the greater gaming community. However there is a core team of people that oversee the development of Galaxy in Turmoil, as well as the many volunteers that have contributed in some way, shape or form. The below list does not contain everyone currently working on Galaxy in Turmoil, but rather the very core team that keeps the ship floating. We're excited to announce that we have officially signed on Tay Zonday (Chocolate Rain) as a cast member for our upcoming demo! Tay has a big personality and an even bigger voice that will be the driving voice behind a key character in our never before seen universe. If you've never listened to any of his amazing songs, such as Chocolate Rain, or even his Skyrim cover, you don't know what you're missing out on!
We're currently in talks with a few other big YouTube stars to see about getting them signed on to join the Galaxy in Turmoil cast, so be sure to keep an eye on our blog for more updates.
